Copenhagen 13/4 2026. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Steel can with a simple white label with Monkish' usual crudely drawn hop flower in gold.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized, frothy white head. Stable. Settles as a thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet snd a bit fermented odor of overripe fruit mingling with sharp citrus. Sweet mango and pear. Hint of decay. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering. Finish is dry.
Monkish Powerhouse.

Clouded yellow with white foam.
Smell makes me think El Dorado.
Sorta peach and melon and a very faintly white wine with touch of sweet orange. Generic, I know, but reminds me of a Capri Sun I haven't had in years.
Crisp, no mouth stain that I like with hazies.

Sweet white wine grape, tropical hoppy, and hint of dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a juicy grapefruit citrus and tropical hoppy, hint of dank finish. Some citrus bitterness lingers for a bit and as it warms, some dankness comes along for the ride. Nice and soft and juicy this one is...so enjoyable to drink. This is really good!
