Another pickup from late February 2022. I think this was my favorite of the bunch. Pours a light beige-yellow color, hazy but not thicccc, 3/4" white head. Ok, it didn't win any appearance awards, but hold on.
The aroma popped nice, usual citrus from Citra, but the Enigma and Galaxy really shine bringing layers of tropical fruit: passion fruit, yumberry, papaya, pineapple. Well done.
Taste just ups all those tropical and citrus notes with a good bittering charge, guessing Enigma did some double duty on this one. Its one of those cool hazies that hit you with that west coast bitterness, but softens up the alcohol for you all while still delivering boatloads of hoppy layers all over the tongue and down the gullet. Gullet? What rhymes with mullet?
Its pretty wild times you can make something almost 9% drink so easily and awesomely. This is the beer I tell people to check out who think Monkish just makes average hoppy stuff everyone else does. Like yeah man, lots make great ipas now, but this is a slight notch above most.

Sweet tropical hoppy, grapefruit citrus, and an earthy/grassy nose on this one! Taste follows with a hoppy and lemony citrus bitter finish. Some grapefruity, earthy bitter notes appear on the backend as it warms...starts to linger more and more as the temp increases. This is nice and murky-soft on the palate...not as heavy as I was expecting, but still a pretty good mouthfeel. Pretty good!
