One month old. Can to wine glass.

L: Pours a milky yellow with a fluffy white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Some floaters visible.

S: Candied citrus fruits, ripe strawberries, tropical pineapple and mango.

T: Candied grapefruit, ripe pineapple and white grapes. Hoppy and grassy. Medium sweetness. Bitter, almost dry finish.

F: Full, juicy and a bit creamy with a zesty bite and a medium carbonation.

O: Starts very promising with a beautiful look and a great smell, but unfortunately the beer‘s taste falls a bit short of its smell. The fruity notes are definitely still there, just a bit weaker and less pronounced. Not the best IPA I‘ve had from these guys, but still a very good one.

On tap:
A white cloud sits upon a pale yellow beige cloudiness, the former providing lacing as the latter reduces in volume. Nose has the promise of some hip or yeast burn that shows up weakly on the feel. It’s not as aromatic as I expected, but a classic hazy (oat?) background does allow some room for generic green hop aromas. These conecto me as herbal and grassy, with some hints at unripe tropical fruit skins.

A nice bitterness easily beats out that light burn mentioned above, but there’s only a slight evolution as the opening is a mix of this and the aforementioned cloudy IPA flavor I mentioned above. With a bit more warmth, some citrus fruit brings a little nuance to the previously standard opening.

So to a degree, it’s a beer that fits into the category that is saturated, and it doesn’t really stand out. The bitterness is nice on the finish, though, so it works decently enough.

Sweet orange-tangerine citrus, tropical hoppy, and citrus-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a well-balanced, tropical hoppy, and orange citrus bitter finish...some citrus bitter heat lingers a bit as it warms. This is murky-soft, but could use a little more depth on the palate. It sure is delicious, though! Fantastic!
