Pours a creamy, pineapple yellow with a bright white, persistent, rocky head that laces the glass on its way down.
The aroma is reasonably generic New England IPA, with some citrus fruit bowl characteristics, grapefruit peel and booze.
Taste is mild pineapple, nectarine, some peach and grapefruit peel with sweet vanilla underlying all. There's no attempt at hiding the booze, which is a good thing at 10% ABV.
Mouthfeel is thick and creamy and complements the taste perfectly.
Overall this is a really enjoyable beer that defies you to have a second, but do so at your own peril!
