Sweet tropical hoppy, slightly malty, and an earthy-citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a earthy-hoppy and grapefruit citrus bitter finish. As it warms, that earth-bitterness starts to dominate the backend...that combined with the grapefruit citrus bitter bite makes it less enjoyable IMO. Still pretty good, but not my favorite Monkish triple.

16oz can from Function PDX. Hazy yellow pour, fizzy head fades. Aroma is grapefruit. Taste is....wait for it....grapefruit. Pretty straightforward. Thick, creamy body with the ever present citrus zesty stinging the palate.
