Barleywine aged thrice. Triple Oaked Life Sized is a triple OLED barleywine aged in Weller bourbon barrels for 14 months, followed by 10 months in Cognac barrels, then aged in Willet bourbon barrels for another 12 months. Collaboration with Anchorage Brewing.

Sweet caramel and toffee malty, ripe dark fruits, a touch of oxidation, and a bourbon and cognac barrel boozy nose on this one! Taste follows with a thick and decadent, caramel-toffee and chocolate covered raisins, cognac boozy finish...warming as it goes down. This was released 3 years ago so there is a touch of oxidation to this, but nothing too outrageous. So glad I was able to try this! This is great!
