September 19th, 2015 - This beer is a fascinating foray into new aromas. The smell of the sea unfurls from the glass, with Old Bay, as well as slivers of strawberry, cherry and sherry. The flavor is a bit rougher with some cough medicine. Booze appears with some strength near the end and reveals a sherry quality in the aftertaste.

On tap at Monkish Brewing Company in Torrance, CA.
Pours a clear honey orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, fruity, and floral aromas. Taste is much the same with a fruity flavor and an alcohol kick on the finish. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice fruity presence but it's a bit boozy in my opinion.
