330ml bottle from Hotel Chocolat:
A dark but clear amber with a 0.5cm head that’s foamy white but turns patchy quickly then disappears. The nose is malty & sweet with subdued hops & biscuit notes but no chocolate. The taste is stronger with the malt bitterness with bread & caramel malts following but it’s more pale ale than IPA. The body was moderately carbonated, crispy & sharp but nothing special really.
