A-Pours a deep, dark brown with a very dark brown head.
S-Oozing out the pricey bourbon notes. Aged bourbon upon old wooden barrels. Very extensive whiskey and wood aroma. There are also heavy fudgy and espresso notes. Booze semi-evident.
T-Flavor is also impressive. Tastes of expensive bourbon. The wood tastes old and tannic. The espresso, slight char and formiddable fudge is all wrapped under the Pappy blanket.
M-It's only real problem is the feel, or more specifically, the body. It's too thin and the thinness doesn't help to mask the booze at all. Definitively needs a thicker body.
O-I really enjoyed this beer save for the feel and body. The flavor and aroma were so nice that the feel quickly became an afterthought. Very nice beer from the Pro Pig crew!
