Single hop pale ale. Ella hops are a half-sister to Galaxy hops showing grapefruit, candied tropical fruit and slight spice paired with a light grain bill of pale and vienna malts and flaked oats.

The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange to amber color with a thin finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Messy stringy lace. The aroma had some juicy pulpy citrusy sweet rindy bitterness. Light strawberry and peach make up a nice arrangement underneath. The flavor leans to the sweet side of a blend of those previously mentioned fruity aromas. Lingering malty fruity notes in the aftertaste and in on the background. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine and fairly low. Overall, really nicely done APA that I would definitely have again.
