On tap at Prohbition Pig. I had this in a sample glass and it had a nice one finger’s worth of white foamy head and dissipated nicely to allow a semi-messy spider web lacing. The aroma yields to the German sweet malty yeasty breadiness just right. Yes, it seems just right. The flavor copies the aroma very nicely yielding to a super smooth bready aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Mild carbonation yielding to malty/bready smoothness rolling over my tongue. Overall, for the style and by an American brewer, yes, this one is above par, me, I say when in Waterbury, drink this.
