The appearance was a glossy yellow color with a cap of a little white foamy head that slid off immediately.
The aroma had a super nice blend of passion fruit and guava playing with some lemonade and then a touch of tart rind closing in on some crisp sweet to semi-sour wheat.
The flavor was a wonderful blend of the sour to the tart and wrapping in a delicate undertone of the sweet for a fabulous balance. Tart to sweet to semi-sour aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about light bodied with a fantastic sessionability about it. Carbonation felt pretty good, somewhat low. ABV felt presentable. Tartness seemed to tame the sour and the sweet to lead to a refined smoothness along my tongue.
Overall, APWA or Berliner? Somehow when I was talking with Nate, I thought he said they "sour-ed" the wheat in this like a Berliner. But if anything, it's definitely one to have again, no matter whatever the style is supposed to be!
