Wine is king here, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a handmade beer as well. This is a full on restaurant, where you cook your own food, which is cooler than it sounds. They also have a small bar, with their own beers. They can vary in quality, but are well made and make the experience that much better.

Attended their Wine and Beer festival yesterday. This used to be a four day event with camping and it got so out of hand, that they stopped having it. This was their reincarnation and they now also brew beer on premise. They had 12 beers offered. I had not been here in two years and the beer quality has significantly improved. They had two mild sours that were excellent - a Gose and a sour stout.

Been there several times as i live fairly close, They only opened The Micro Brewery in late February (they forgot to tel lme..lol). 7 beers on Draft, No TV's, along with lots of their wine (It is a winery 1st) Steve, the Brewer has it down right. He has 7 drafts and he makes small batches starting out. The stout is exceptionally smooth and not to bitter. Lacing is very nice. I personally enjoy the English Ale which is about 6.6%abv. The Wheat is very popular, but not my style so I havent tried it. Tried the IPA and it was very good as well about 7%abv. Place Closes about 6pm early in the week. No bar stools, but plenty of tables. Food is very good but limited to Cheese Plate and Pepperoni/Crackers and bread early in the week. $8.5 for the basic plate & $11.00 for the nicer cheeses,( both are very good and plentyful) Thursday is Wine and Beer and Music night (usually an acoustic band/person so it is not to loud). A few more sandwiches and Pizza available on Thursday which are all good. (Large Pizza and 2 Pint beer special for $18.00)
Fri/Sat is Grill you own Steak/Seafood Very Popular. Need reservations for those days. $62.00 per couple get Steak/Salmon,Potato, Salad bar, Desert & Bottle of Wine or 4 pint Beers. You can do a single person price. They are still in the beginning stages of the brewery part trying to figure what works, and what doesn't.
