Had this as beer #2 in a 6 beer flight at the source at the end of May 2014. Had it after the lager. Looks the same in my pic, with like maybe 1 whole SRM point darker. Thin 1/3" white head. This is 2014-1 if anyone is keeping score.
Aroma first gave the impression of a Sorachi Ace like hop, that lemon. I've also come across some neomexicanus hops that are similar aroma profile wise as well.
Taste went in a bit of a different direction, took on a lot of the Chinook and Centennial like pine notes, still pushed citrus lemon and grapefruit, but not as much as in the aroma. Body is relatively light despite having kind of a caramel like appearance color wise. Even given its relative minimal heft, it did have a slightly sticky presence to it. Basically came off a little bit like a varied Two Hearted, instead of going all Centennial, they diversified their hop portfolio, possibly with an experimental (in 2014) variety. Good, but probably not going into production on a large scale.
