Enjoyed at the brewery cafe in a 16oz snifter.
A- Deep copper, good clarity, slightly off white head.
S- Lots of pine and evergreen with some light citrus notes of grapefruit.
T- Big pine and evergreen notes, light citrus, big bitterness. Very light alcohol presence.
M- Good medium.
O- Usually I'm not a big fan of pine forward IPAs, but the ones I get from Bell's are always enjoyable to me. This Trial DIPA is more in the vein of The Oracle than Hopslam with all the pine but it's more evergreen than citrus compared to Oracle but the abv is less present than in Oracle. If you like evergreen and pine, you'll love this one.
