They jammed so much shit into this beer, I can't imagine what the F they were thinking. "Hey guys, let's try to out-Dogfish-Head Dogfish Head!"
Surprisingly, the beer pours a nice clear molasses deep brown, what you would expect from a strong ale. No murkiness. The aroma was on welfare though; sage, camphor and maybe some menthol. The taste was very strange and not cohesive. It starts sweet, and then slightly herbal, peppery and then a bit of salty soy sauce sneaks up, but thankfully crawls back into its hole. The beer improved as it warmed.
This is a nice bottle share beer, to make people say WTF and then make whatever mediocre beer you pour directly afterwards taste like gold.

Not what I expected in an Ale. More hops than I expected and a bitter after taste.
