On tap at Eccentric Cafe
L: Pleasant golden color. Great, frothy white head
S: Awesome. Super spicy yeast character, little bit of citrus
T: Typical Belgian yeast characteristics of banana and clove. Little bit of black pepper. Hop character is grassy and builds a bit in bitterness as the beer warms
F: Good for the style. Bubbly but not too thick
Overall very impressed. This isn't just some throwaway interpretation of a Belgian pale. The yeast really shines in this beer. Not superbly poundable because of the lingering hop bitterness, but still a pleasant experience.
