Served at Frankenmuth's World Expo of Beer 2016.
What a facking treat this was. I don't know where to start. The tawny port is ever-present in this adding a rich, well, port flavor. The Baltic porter base is solid and perfectly roasty. I can see why some may not love this beer as the bitter malts with the port flavors makes for a definitely unique sensation, but I like it a lot. Hard to put into words, especially when you're several beers deep, but this is one to try.

Had on tap. Shimmering black with brown edging, virtually no head save a beige collar. The port is front and center in the nose with a really complimentary dark chocolate, huge raisin, booze, and leather. Taste adds licorice, roasted malts, and oak, but the star is still the port interactions with flavors. Feel is medium to light bodied but plenty boozy and has lots of tannins textures to cover any flaws. Nice taproom beer, went great as a palate setter for the burger
