Pours a super light yellow. Very cloudy, very little head. Smell is of some tart with a hint of pear. Taste is a bit more sour than anticipted, but the pear flavor is present. Easily drinkable and nice finish.

A: Light pear, mingles with a moderate lingering sourness.

A: Faint straw color, super hazy almost opaque with no head whatsoever

T: Soft pear flavor, followed by a moderate buttery note (diacetyl) with a lingering sourness.

M: Light bodied with moderately light carbonation. Sour, but not at all acidic.

O: The aroma is solid and pears are difficult to work with, but the diacetyl flavor keeps this beer from being a sessionable, easy to drink sour. In fact the buttery flavor makes this beer darn right difficult to drink. Try again.

On tap at Hopcat Madison. A very delicate sour but that's good because it ensure that the pear comes through nicely. It's low ABV like a Berliner but has the flavor of a more substantially sour. It'd be a wonderful beer to drink in large quantities during the summer but it was still quite enjoyable even in the dead of winter.
