Enjoying this beer on-tap at the Tremont Taphouse at their annual Bell's tap takeover that always happens here on the second day (the first Saturday) of Cleveland Beer Week. Served in a goblet style glass, this beer draws a dark, clear copper color with a slightly tan/off-white head that's about 1-2 of an inch thick when first served that settles to a medium sized to thick ring lining the inside of the glass. Not much lacing here though. Aromas of caramel malt sweetness, a bit of wheat, vanilla, and oaked bourbon. The taste pretty much follows suit, with caramel malt sweetness, some wheat, vanilla, and oaked bourbon bozzyness for that extra kick. Has a crisp, yet smooth, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish. An excellent variation of this beer.
