Dark black body, one finger mocha head, good retention and not much lacing. Smell is mild sweet and red vinous character, dark chocolate, lots of dark fruit, roast, oak and a bit of dryness. Flavour is similarly sweet, port and dry fortified vinous character, light oak, dark fruit, raisin, dried cherries, oak, roast, chocolate. Mouthfeel is full bodied, a bit lighter than the bourbon versions which perhaps is related to the port. Mild bitter earthy Baker's chocolate and a light amount of dry sweetness on the backend.
