So, what did happen after two flamingos walked into a bar? A take on a modern Gose, Lemon-Lime Flamingo Fruit Fight is kettle soured with Lactobacillus (lacto for short) brewed with traditional (coriander, salt and wheat malt) and non-traditional (lemon and lime zest) ingredients. The addition of fruit compliments the spiciness and tartness.

Purchased from The Fresh Market for $1.78. Poured into a pils glass.
L - Slightly opaque goldenrod. Very minimal head; pale white. Laces nicely.
S - Green apple peels, faint lemon. Not too much else, actually.
T - Pretty sour! Notes of wheat, lemongrass, and sea salt. Salty lime finish. Well-balanced throughout.
F - Clean. Light-medium body, with lots of carbonation. Nice and light, and super drinkable. Very refreshing.
O - I'm not too impressed by this one. It's refreshing and alright-tasting, but not really worth buying.

12 ounce bottle poured into a chalice.
A --- Pours a clear yellow, with a short white head that dissipates quickly, leaving no lacing.
S --- Smells of wheat, corn, limes, lemon, salt.
T --- Tastes malty, lemony, limey, hints of coriander and salt, quite sweet and not very bitter.
F --- Very crisp, the zesty flavor with high carbonation makes it very refreshing, like a Fresca vibe.
O --- Overall I liked this, but I am a gose connoisseur and this just doesn't stand out, it's an okay gose, a good beer but nothing special.

Clear, extremely pale gold appearance. Modest white head. Nose of lemon, lime, and wheat. Highly carbonated. Crisp and very refreshing. The beer world's 7-up.

I had the tequila BA version of this beer with passionfruit a while back, and while I wasn't impressed I was also intrigued. This is just a simple lemon lime Gose, a combination that makes sense on paper, but not one I've seen executed often, if at all. Let's pop this one open
Pours a clear bright gold with 2 fingers of soapy white head that slowly fades to a thin ring and leaves minimal lacing
The nose here is very basic, pretty much just everything this was brewed with. I'm picking up on aromas of lime juice, lemon zest, doughy malt, coriander, and light salt
It gets a bit of a boost in taste, brining slightly more interesting notes to the table. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting lemon juice, coriander, white wine, apple skin, bready malt, and light lime juice. The swallow brings notes of lemon juice, caramel, bready malt, lime juice, earthy wheat, pear, and sea salt
A light medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a crisp beer. Finishes mostly dry and nicely tart
Nothing special but a solid Gose that thankfully doesn't lean too heavily into the coriander as some do

12oz bottle. Label has bottling date as 'PKG 05/06/2021', with a shelf life of six months.
Slightly cloudy, straw colored body. Half a finger of white head, which reduces to an active cap from rising bubbles.
Aroma of kettle sour lacto, along with faint lemon and lime.
Taste has a base of wheat malt, with mild tartness. Spicy with coriander, with some salt. Lemon and lime add in a mix of sour and sweet notes. Wheat, coriander, and salt control in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Leaves salt on the lips. Very good carbonation.
Has the character of a Gose, with added fruit of lemon and lime.

Pours a cloudy, but still mostly clear golden-yellow color. Thin, weak white sudsy head appears on the beer, but really struggles to get any substance or retention. Aroma has notes of bright citrus, lemon-lime, coriander with a moderate tartness and a subtle malty base peeping through. The lemon-lime notes imply a certain sweetness and are almost reminiscent of like a soda or something.
Taste has notes of lemon, lime, lactic acidity, some black pepper and coriander notes giving way to a strong wheat malt backbone with an overarching moderate salinity. The flavor is far more balanced than the nose implied with the lemon-lime notes nicely balanced along with the more traditional gose base taking a much more prominent position in the profile. Feel is light, crisp and quite refreshing. Moderate carbonation. Pretty dry on the finish. Of the four I think this is the driest.
Overall a nice entry in the Flamingo Fruit Flight lineup.
