On-tap poured into a pilener glass.

A- This was one of the more unique looking beers I've ever seen. When it was poured it looked just like "ruby-red" grapefruit juice. There was the lightest of head that fell to light bubbles at the edges of the glass.

S- It was a definite blend of cherry and wheat.

T- The flavor started as tart cherries and the wheat worked its way through toward the end of a sip.

M- The feel was pretty smooth with a light coating effect.

D- The drinkabilty was good for a fruit beer. The cherry flavor wasn't so sweet that you couldn't drink more than 1 in a sitting.

On tap at Bell's Eccentric Cafe, known as the Poolside Ale.

Poured a hazy light amber with pink hues and a thin white head, little retention and some lacing. Smells of wheat, clove, lemon, and cherries. Tastes of sweet biscuits, lemon rind, spices, and a light maraschino cherry juice finish. Light bodied, sweet and tart. Refreshing, easy to drink and very sessionable with low ABV, a good summer brew to enjoy while lounging at the pool.

I'm not one for wheat brews but this one was fine and dandy. Very tastey treat.

Poured pinkish with a bit of a hazey character and a fizzing pink head that fades quickly.

Smell is of tart cherries with a bit of residual sugars lingering in the background. A very acidic, wheaty ester follows up with a citrusy kick.

Very tastey indeed. Not the most complex brew but a great sessionable warm weather on it is. Sweet and sour cherry, a bit of bitterness, acidity and carbonation work well in the middle with a wheaty refreshing aftertaste. Nice.
