On-tap at the cafe, served in a snifter, noted as Leg One.
The color reflects about what you would expect from an apricot ale, a lush gold with hints of orange and bronze. Practically no head. Some medium spicing in the nose.
Sips fairly flat, with just enough carbonation to wash down the big alcohol lurking in here. The apricot is much more gentle than I might have anticipated, yet still nicely done, it certainly doesn't take the center stage here.
A little flat and big for much session-ing, but certainly nice to try a glass.

This was a damn good strong ale brewed with apricots. Clean clear amber with a small white head fading quickly.
Fruity malt with apricot and honey suckle. Some citrusy hops and predominant sugars in the nose.
Thick with a high level of residual sugar. Fruity malts with a tangs middle. Apricot is there but very well integrated with the hop and malts. Big glyceryl in the middle through the finish. Great strong ale.
