Had on tap at the Eccentric Cafe on April 11, 2009. Served in a snifter.
A: Dark copper with a white head. Good lacing.
S: Slightly sweet. Some grapes and hops on the back end. Quite fruity and sugary--cherry or red grape.
T: Candied sugar and plenty of hops. Sweet with a good finish.
Definite fruity esters. Some burnt sugars.
M: Very creamy and medium-bodied. Definite alcohol presence. Smooth for 10abv.
D: A little heavy but quite good. Goes down very well.
