This pours a beautiful amber color with great foam. The aroma is peppery, with a smokey bandaid punch. I get a bit of peppery bacon and smokey campfire on the flavor. It’s lightly bodied with a great kick at the end. Another winner. That touch of rye gives a nice pepper kick to it.

Draft at Bells.
Pours gold with no head. Aroma is charcoal, smoke. Taste is very smokey with hop notes (pine, citrus) in the background. Maybe too much smoke on this one but then again, the name says it all.
Not my favorite but it gets extra points for originality.

Enjoyed on tap at the Eccentric Cafe. Unfiltered look, Caesar head. Carbonation is right there. Some sourness. Not so drinkable. Smoke was subtle, rye was subtle. Some sweetness, altogether I have to be just in the right mood for this one, and I wasn't today.
