Had on tap today up at Bell's.

A- Came to me a very dark chocolate brown color almost black. No real head on it at on this at all. I think they poured it to be that way. Some white foam just skimming the top of the beer. No lacing just dabs here and there that fall back into the beer.

S- Big wine vinegar smell to this right off the bat. This just smells soured. Little chocolate malt notes in the background of the nose. Light roasting as well but it quickly gets moved out of the way by the sour notes.

T- If you like sours then the taste is for you. Big sourness to this beer in the front middle and back of this beer. Very puckering sourness in the front of the beer takes backseat to some chocolate stout tones in the middle of beer. These stout tones are never really big but are the backbone for this thing. Ends with a nice wine sourness that I just love.

M- This is a medium-heavy mouthfeel. The carbonation was pretty good for the beer and helped with the pushing of everything across the palate. Left big vinegary hints everywhere in the mouth and aftertaste.

D- This thing had some good drinkability to it. I would say people into sours would love this beer just like I did. It has more traits of a sour than a stout. Stout drinkers would enjoy this as well. And for everyone else...well...I think they just might enjoy this crazy mixing of two very different styles. ABV is low enough that you can enjoy a couple of pints and be ok.

I couldn't get over how amazing this beer was while I was sipping on it earlier. Luckly I had a couple more glasses of it before I left. Now this could be a good new trend that I hope takes on!
