Pours a hazy, thick orange cream color, with a modest head. Aroma is guava and passionfruit. Taste is passionfruit and with mango at the very tail end. Carbonation is minimal and there is great deal of fruit in each taste. The experience ends quickly. The body is thick though not as thick as one might expect from the sight. I do believe that trying this out in a hammock would enhance the experience.

Pours like a hazy, cloudy and opaque. Great head retention, too. The guava is most prominent on the nose, with more of the mango and passion fruit coming across on the sip. It’s … not what I expected at all. More akin to a fruited sour than the Oberon we all know and (for the most part) love.

The beer pouts a nice fluffy, slightly creamy, and white head that dissipates at a moderate pace. The beer itself is a cloudy yellow orange that looks nice.
The smell is good. It has a wheat and yeast smell mixed with the mango and passionfruit sweet and fruity notes. The guava really stands out in the smell with slightly tart note surrounded by the sweeter fruit notes.
The taste is good but not as good as the smell. The guava comes out in front and dominates most of the taste while the sweeter fruits like the mango barely make it through. The wheat note comes out in the finish.
The feel is good. It has a fairly heavy body for a wheat ale and comes out more like a light slurpee. It has a sticky and lightly acidic finish.
Overall, a pretty good beer worth getting for those not as miserable summer days.

Needs to be correct temperature and in a glass to appreciate its subtlety. Rich heavy wheat beer head. Muted fruity aroma. Opaque mango color. Lingering fruit aftertaste. Pulpy rich mouth feel and carbonation, very nicely done. Not in-your-face but subtle and a very nice offering. I paid $9.50 for a 4 pack.

Bell's Brewery "Oberon - Tropical"
12 fl. oz. brown glass bottle "PKG 04/20/22" and sampled on 06/15/22
$3.29 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: The label reads "Brewed with real passionfruit, pink guava, and mango". That may explain why it's so murky! It's a kind of golden/brass in color beneath a full head of white foam. The aroma is distinctly fruity. Let's see what we've got here... passionfruit, guava, and fruit pulp. On to the flavor... it's fruity, and juicy, but the flavors aren't really that clear. I get mango followed by passionfruit, and then the guava. Guava is kind of mild to begin with so that's to be expected. It's not that sweet considering all of the fruit that was added. I get the wheat in the malt but the malt isn't really that sweet either. There's not a lot of bitterness to it but it still finishes dry. Surprisingly, given all of the fruit involved, there's not a lot left lingering. In the mouth it's medium bodied but it feels fuller because of all of the extra proteins and fruit. The carbonation is moderate leaving it creamy and smooth. The head held up pretty well throughout but the lacing was just a little bit better than average. In the end I have to say that I prefer the standard Oberon because it's more focused and has a better balance.

12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass. Bottled 4/21/22, so plenty fresh.
L---Murky, opaque, thick looking. Yellowy orange color. Yellowy head with ok retention and great lacing. Looks absolutely nothing like a wheat beer. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
S---Tropical fruit (Mango & guava) backed by wheat. Exactly as advertised.
T---Sweet. Not as wheaty as expected, more dominated by the mango & guava.
F---Medium+ body. Oddly for a wheat beer, it's a little sticky.
O---Would be good, not great on a hot day.
