A certainly acceptable option for the caloried and abv. Not a great beer by any stretch but a far superior Sunday afternoon crusher than bud light et al.
I actually hold light hearted in incredibly high regard. For the 3.7% abv it packs an unbelievable amount of flavor and can hang with a 5.5% beer all day flavor wise. I picked up losun hoping it would be the same anomaly but sadly my initial impressions are that it drinks pretty close to as expected for a 110cal 4% wheat beer.

12 FL OZ bottle
Served in a stemless wine glass
This diet beverage pours a hazy, golden hue and is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
I get a nice citrus aroma. I get lemon and orange.
Decent citrus flavor. Light and dry
Medium bodied with a dry mouthfeel
I am morbidly obese, so I do not enjoy these diet beers.

Appearance: Pours a hay-hued body, a bit hazy with an inch of loose, white suds.
Smell: Washed out, rung out aromatics with mild touches of wheat, lemon, cracker meal and a faint, quasi umami accent.
Taste: It has a very little sweetness, initially. A light wheatiness, some lemony citrus and a munch on a reduced-sodium saltine and still there's that umami yeast accent lurking in the background.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: At just 77 calories more, I think I will have the Oberon, instead, thanks.
On the side of the can, within the box containing the calories, carbs and whatnot, there is the very specific, bold-type message: PUERTO RICE DO NOT LITTER. Geez, that's a bit specific, isn't it? We can drive down the streets and byways of any of our towns and find all sorts of litter and rubbish, why must we pick on our Caribbean friends like that and make them out to be an island of litterbugs? Not cool, Bell's.

December 2021 - March 2022 Wheat Series Release - 12 pack
12 oz. bottle dated 12/14/2021 - 4.0% ABV / 20 IBU
Brewed and bottled in Comstock, MI
Poured into a Bell's branded nonic pint glass
Look - Pours a thin and fizzy off-white head that evaporates pretty quickly. Hazy, light to dark orange appearance with a good amount of streaming bubbles.
Smell - Getting mostly citrus and biscuity wheat malt in the scent. The citrus is mostly a lemon aroma.
Taste - The taste follows the nose with a subtle tartness from the lemon flavor, and there is almost no bitterness. The aftertaste has a weird fishiness to it, but it isn't overwhelming.
Feel - Medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel and finishes slightly dry.
Overall - The fishy aftertaste kind of ruins this, but it's not terrible.

On tap at Pour Taproom Wilmington into tulip glass. Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas and flavors of red grapefruit, orange, citrus peel/rind, passion fruit, berry, wood, pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, herbal, floral, grass. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation and light body. Sticky/resin hops and light grainy malts. Crisp/drying resinous finish with no astringent hop flavors. Pretty refreshing. Tastes like Light Hearted but with Simcoe? Very vibrant and dank hops, with a light malt backing. More of a session IPA than a wheat beer I thought, but awesome for the ABV.

Semi cloudy gold orange appearance.
Around a medium body with at least average carbonation.
Aroma is wheat, citrus fruit and peel, malt, yeast, earthy floral honey.
Taste is very similar to aroma with a very mild sweetness with an even more mild citrus peel bitterness.
Overall this was very flavorful and well done.
The biggest compliment is that I judged this straight up and not as a lo cal beer. It basically holds its own and would make an excellent summer beer.

On draft at PapPo's. Poured out a clear, pale golden color with a small, white head of bubbly foam. It left some sudsy lace on the glass. It smelled of wheat, lemon and some citrus. Sweet wheat taste with some tart lemon and an odd grassy flavor.

Appearance: Pours a clear, deep to medium golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7.
Aroma: Strong grassy and peppery aromas upfront. Some lemon zest and citrus too. Cracker malt on the finish.
Flavor: Strong lemon citrus zest and spice, grass, and pepper upfront. Then some more lemon zest before a pale wheat and cracker malt finish.
Feel: Medium-bodied. Strong carbonation. A strong crackers, wheat, and yeast profile on the finish.
Compared to Fulton Blonde 2/23/22: Pours a lighter color. Stronger aromas. More lemon and cracker. Less toasted German bread malts and earthy honey. Lighter and crisper.
to Bells Rind Over Matter 3/8/22: More dry lemon, wheat, and toasted bread. Less lemon citrus, lime, and cleaner. Winner: Lo Sun
to Summit Cabin Crusher with lemon 5/17/22: Pours clearer, milder head. Milder aromas. Less tart lemon. More dry wheat/lemon. dryer and yeastier.
Overall: Quite a little flavorful beer here for 4% and 110 calories. A nice surprise of flavors including lemon citrus zest, pepper, grass, and spice. Drinks quite well here. Much better than I expected. A bit summery right in the heart of winter, but Bells did this one so well I applaud this one (Rating: 4.25)
