After helping a friend move earlier this year, I was given a bunch of these. I'm guessing these are a few years old, so I'll try to keep that in mind. This is the Bell's Fruit Fight Session sour ale with cherries. It pours a transparent reddish brown with a pinkish head. The nose screams sour cherry. The taste is almost undrinkably sour with a hint of cherry on the tail end. The mouthfeel is really rough and the whole thing has an element of stale/cardboard throughout. If this was as they intended, I would question their thought process on releasing this product.

12 oz. can, canned 05/24/22. A new one to me from Bell's, acquired a single can as part of a mixed six pack at the local Binny's. "Session sour ale with cherry".
Poured to a clear stemless snifter glass.
Pours a beautiful juicy cherry colored body; Small finger of frothy pink-tinted white head that leaves some good spotty lacing. Looks fresh & well carbonated. Juicy red body with hints of browns. Final pour yields a deep woodsy body with tons of big chunky yeasty sediment in the glass. Love me some sediment. Looks excellent.
Light tart, juicy cherry fruit roll-up aromas. Notes of cream & sugar. Definitely smells like cherry / strawberry fruit by the foot. Light notes of earth, must, & wood.
Fruity & juicy - definite big notes of cherry, strawberry, & wood. Not exactly sour, but good "tart". Authentic tasting. Almost approaches Flanders red territory at times, but lighter in body, & not nearly as bitter.
Smooth, crisp, borderline quenching. Perfect amount of authentic cherry juicy tart, not particularly sour, with good yeasty, bacterial tasting finish. Super drinkable stuff with the low abv as well. Crushable.
Overall, I liked this one the more I drank on it. I knew the cherry variety would be a good place to start my journey into the Flamingo series. Looking forward to trying the rest.

Pours a dark ruby color. Opaque, but not very cloudy. Thick pink head forms on the beer before quickly dissipating. No residual head remains. Aroma has notes of tart fresh cherries, some light wheat and malt notes and some earthy notes.
Taste follows the nose with notes of wheat and pilsner malt upfront giving way quickly to some tart, overly ripe cherry notes. There is a moderate sourness. As the sourness passes the finish has some light notes of mint leaves, earthy hop notes and the wheat malt notes once again. Feel is light to medium bodied, easy drinking, moderately tart.
Overall this is one of my personal favorites of the series. Delicious beer especially if you love cherries.
