12 oz. can, canned 05/22/22 is what it looks like. Another new one to me from Bell's as part of their "Flamingo Series", this one a "Session Ale with Blood orange".
Poured to Ballast Point stemware.
Pours a juicy fresh golden body - finger of frothy white head that has decent staying power. Appears well carbonated, lots of bubbles rushing topside. Second pour is a beautiful grapefruit ruby red color with some yeasty sediment visible.
A pleasant aroma, if somewhat subdued. Notes of blood orange / mandarin, citrus pith / zest, touch of grain, and a bit of well water / coiny metallics. Small notes of funk & leather are present to start, but they fade quickly.
Taste follows the nose: crisp, not sour, but with minor authentic blood orange tartness, juicy citrus, & a bit grainy / wheaty. Authentic flavors of citrus zest / rind are present, like they brewed it with the whole damn fruit. Juicy, fruity, & authentic, but it could benefit from just a touch more tart / sour.
Smooth, crisp, & quaffable. Light-bodied, super easy drinking, excellent carbonation.
Overall, like an Intro to Sours sort of beer, Definitely sessionable stuff, and another quality beer from Bell's.

2022 Fighter Flight Variety Pack - 12 pack
12 oz. can dated 052222 (05/22/22) - 4.5% ABV / 15 IBU
Brewed and canned in Comstock, MI
Poured into a Bell's branded nonic pint glass
Look - Pours a soapy, fizzy and slightly orange off-white head that evaporates quickly. Hazy, light to dark orange appearance.
Smell - The scent is mostly yeast with some subtle citrus.
Taste - The taste is dominated by tart blood orange and there's a small amount of bitterness in the aftertaste. Almost getting a creamy orange sherbet taste as well.
Feel - Medium bodied with a crisp and sharp mouthfeel and finishes with minimal dryness.
Overall - Has a pleasant taste and is easy to drink.

Pours a cloudy, opaque orange color. Thin sudsy white head forms on the beer for just a couple seconds before dissipating. Ends up looking like a mimosa. Aroma has subtle notes of orange, orange flesh and some light wheat notes. There is a subtle tartness on the nose, but it seems to be more of a fruit induced tartness than anything.
Taste has notes of wheat and malt with a light tartness. That rather quickly gives way to gentle notes of orange, tangerine, and blood orange. Not all that sweet - rather comes across like fresh squeezed orange juice. There is a moderate tartness that is quite refreshing. Feel is light, tart, but not tart enough to produce any puckering. Semi-dry on the finish.
Overall this one is quite good. The orange is perhaps a bit more subtle than I would prefer, but that is just me. On a hot day a cold one of these is remarkably refreshing.
