12oz bottle poured into a tulip
Bottled 8/4/22
A- pours a clear golden color with a one-finger foamy and frothy white head that has great retention and leaves some lacing behind
S- grapefruit rind and resinous pine hop notes, with undertones of pineapple and passionfruit. Underlying toasted malt that is just a hint bready
T- juicy and zesty citrus notes of grapefruit and tangerine, followed by some resinous pine and grassy hop notes. Mid-palate gives a hint of toasted malt before giving way to more fresh citrus. The finish continues with citrus and piney hops, with a light malty linger
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a slightly warming finish
O- The structure of a west coast IPA with some juicy notes of a NEIPA, it actually reminded me of a less malty version of Hopslam
