(Either I left off or, equally likely, accidentally erased my descriptor of this beer’s appearance in my notes. Sorry, folks.)
This beer has a sharp, bitter hop-forward aroma, as indicative of the flavor as it is a warning… definitely a brew for hop-heads! The flavor starts out as a hoppy punch of oily citrus but transitions into a piney finish. Thick, chewy, and dry on the end. As it warms a slight sweetness emerges to balance the pine resin and rich chewiness of the hop profile.
