This incantation of the experimental hop series translates into a dark roasty black color. There’s herbal notes to the aroma along with dark malts. I get a muddled herbaceous along with some roasty aroma, reminiscent of a gruit almost. There’s a sharp bitterness up front with some medicinal flavor as well as some roast from the dark malts but with a clear body and a wonderful flavor. I loved it.
