On tap at Bells.
Pours like iced tea. Smells... like iced tea. Only a beery iced tea, thankfully nothing like that wretched alcoholic snapple I once accidentally bought at the gas station. Smells very fruity, dull at first but stronger and more variegated as it warms up.
The flavor is spritely--grass, weeds, lemons, black tea, and dandelions. Certainly experimental and not very traditionally beery, even in a broad sense, but still pretty good. Were I to compare it to another style of beer, I'd say it was a little bit like a sweet saison, only without any salient yeast complexities. The strange hop profile is actually quite nice, but the balance is off. On the whole, this is an interesting beer that doesn't fully come together.

This iteration of the experimental hop series, their “session pale,” pours a golden straw color. It doesn’t have a big aroma but gobs of flavor, especially for what is labeled a session beer. (Session beers don’t mean they lack flavor, duh!) I get a light citrusy hop aroma, followed by light citrus flavor with a thin malt backbone and a light biscuit toasty note to balance it out.
