A: pours nice brown with a slight ruby hue. 2 finger Khaki head that has great retention. Great lacing.
S: lots of spicy hoppy goodness. Minor mild malt but the spice from the hops dominates this brew.
T: lots of fresh hops. Great spicy character with a bit of bitterness. Very enjoyable. Again, spice from the hops dominated this brew but give it an interesting character that sets it apart from the norm which is great for an over saturated style.
M: carbonation is great, great hop oil feel, very fresh.
O: great stray from the norm on an already over saturated style

Described to me as a pale ale with rye.
This pours a light amber color with a thin layer of foam topped by some tight lacing.
It’s lightly hopped with a peppery, zesty aroma. The flavor has a light hop punch followed by noticeable hop bitterness that ends in a spicy rye note. While well done and enjoyable I found it to be middle-of-the-road overall. As a fan of rye ales I would love to see this one stand out more instead of fading in the crowd.
