I’ve enjoyed the Experimental series and I like the idea of trying out new hop combinations. This one is no different. Tried it direct from the source--at the brewery. This poured a clear amber tan with tight bubbles. The aroma is lightly sweet with some berry hints (Cherries? Blueberries? Michigan-sourced berries, hopefully…). The aroma is fruit-forward, not hop-forward, and inviting. The flavor is crisp, light, and lightly sweet. Berry-forward, yet again, with hints of blueberries and a slight citrusy-hop note matched by a pleasing bitterness. Easy going and drinkable, it develops nicely as it warms.
