Type: 16 oz- on tap
Glass: Pint
From: Ashley's in Ann Arbor
Price: $5.50
Appearance: a deep red brown. pretty clear with some carbonation. thin white head that leaves a lacing on the sides.
Smell: toasted malts, caramel, a touch of fruit. I like the smell, it lets you know its a complex beer
Taste: toasted malts, some earthy hops, fruits, caramel. starts of quite good but falls short with an overly strong sour finish. The toasted malt character is really good and complex, you can tell they used a variety of grains.
Mouthfeel: medium in body. pretty drinkable. Nothing special about it though
Overall: Falls just short of being a great beer. The fruitiness takes away too much from the toasted character that makes this beer really good
