I stopped in at this brewery because I was in the area and looking to try out some new places. I read the review from the other user before we ordered, but decided to give it a go anyway. Consumed parts of a draft pour on 10/24 at the brewery from a tulip glass. Man, was that other review correct. This was not a good craft beers at all. I couldn't even stomach a second sip, although my buddy did (he thought it was awful, too). The color was akin to a soft yellow and it came out with about a finger of foam. The aroma was OK, but did not hint of anything tropical or botanical. There was an average degree of carbonation, but the flavor profile was just weird. No hoppy goodness, no sticky or dank qualities, just this weird, off-putting taste. It had little in common with most IPAs. It actually tasted more like something closer to a sour (my buddy thought it tasted like a household disinfectant, although I'm not sure how he knew what one of those would taste like). When we ordered, I did note that many of the beers on tap that day were farmhouse ales and sours, so it's possible those styles represent this brewery's wheelhouse and IPAs are simply not their best offerings. I note that the other review was only posted about a week prior to mine, so maybe we were both drinking from the same batch and there was indeed a QC problem. We also tried The Dude, which was unremarkable, although not unpleasant like this one. I regret that I was not able to enjoy this and I would urge other beer lovers to proceed forward with a healthy dose of caution.

Not sure if I got a bad batch because I like the hop profile, but the taste is terrible. Something isn’t right with two cans in the four pack and I’m going to dump the other two. Guessing there is a QC issue with this batch. Which is too bad because I’m trying out different Mass breweries. Will try a different beer from these guys.
