A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a thin mocha colored head that rapidly dissipated, leaving only delicate lacing covering the surface and a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderately strong aromas of dark chocolate are present in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste has flavors of dark chocolate along with some faint hints of roasted malts. Neither sweetness nor bitterness are perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and seems a little flat with a low amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very drinkable and packs in a lot of chocolaty flavors for 5.0% abv, although it lacks complexity.
