22 ounce bottle into tulip

Pours a hazy orangish golden color with a 1/2 inch white head. Smell is orange and other citrus. Taste is a citrusy orange and a little lemon-grass, not a hop bomb. Medium body with with average carbonation. Overall this is super drinkable DIPA, reminds me of some of the juicy citrus flavors in Jai Alai.

Friend shared a bottle of this last night.

Pours a cloudy orange color with a thin white head.

Aromas are pretty nice. Mostly notes of sweet citrus and hard candies.

Taste is on the sweet side, but not overly so. Light cream, sugary, with some caramel, and sherbert flavors. Finish is lightly bitter, with a subtle grapefruit like bite.

Mouthfeel is pretty good. Decent body, smooth, decent carbonation.

Overall, a decent first beer that I've tried from Below Grade. Could use some tweaking and cleanup, especially less sweetness and some more hop flavors and this could be solid.

Hazy unfiltered amber body topped by a finger of lasting froth. Smells pretty good, largely stonefruit and pineapple coming from the hops with bready, slightly caramelized malt behind. Fruit esters are prominent as well and complement the hop profile. The palate is pretty similar to the nose, with a decent mix of fruity, peach-like hop notes that works well with the ester profile. It's oddly yeasty for American IPA, but it works well enough. Bitterness is low and the malt backbone is slightly sweet and caramelized. Pretty solid stuff, I'd drink this again.

The beer guy at Newportt Market in Bend told me to try this one. I guess this brewery is an up and coming newby the to Bend beer scene. He said his bottling is basically in his garage right now. So what the hell.

A - Pours a darker, cloudy orange with a one finger tan-fizzy head. Solid retention and lacing.

S - Subtle citrus and peaches.

T - Oranges, bitter grass, peach-mango finish.

D- Good carbonation with a slightly heavy body. Bitter middle but a creamy mouthfeel.

O - Fruity and good. A bitter kick in the middle of this very solid IPA. Try it if you find one.
