Identity Crisis Sour IPA, Farmhouse Style Ale
From the bottle: "This beer is a blend of naturally soured versions of Validation Imperial IPA and Nevermind White IPA. These beers went through a regular primary fermentation, then an extended dry-hopped open fermentation. The result is a crisp, slightly sour brew with grapefruit and pineapple notes imparted by Mother Nature."
Murky peach colored with some loose cream foam falls away quickly to a etched surface. Spruce tips, resin, a little lemon and some BO. Flavor is bitter, then bicarbonate and then some light tartness that reminds me of sweetened ruby grapefruit. I'm uncertain of all the character on it, but it's interestingly nuanced. Medium on full bodied with a tight and sharp carb and a bit of a wet finish. Nice beer, very fun.
