Malt forward "IPA". Carmel sweetness and color dominate. No detectable hop nose or flavors. Should be an Amber ale, not an IPA.

Draft at the brewery.
Bright orange with drippy lacing.
Aroma is fairly nondescript, faint orange peel.
Taste is resiny pine and citrus peel, earthy aftertaste.
Astringent bitterness, light bodied, light carb level.
Overall it's ok, though not something i'd seek out.

Pours a clear darker amber almost coppery color with off-white head. Citrus, light fruits, some very light piney notes, and a slight bready note on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with more fruitiness.

Or Midwest IPA as it's called. A little thin mouthfeel but very drinkable. Bitterness is relatively low, more like a Pale Ale and citrusy instead of piney or bitter, which is what I prefer personally. All in all a very good beer. Looking forward to it being bottled.
