Poured a rather unattractive cloudy amber. Thin head quickly faded to nothing. Some ester aromas of banana and bread. Taste was light on the body, drinkable, but missing the Hefe clove/banana character. Overall I can't recommend, there are much better ones out there.

Had this from a bottle, poured cloudy and yellow, white head was short lived for me. Smelled like banana, clove, bubblegum and crackers. Yeast flavor was on point, maybe a bit more wheat to balance it out. Fairly high carbonation, lively mouthfeel. An average hefe, not bad, but nothing I'd search for.

On draft at the Old Fashioned in Madison. Poured a cloudy, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of banana, cloves and wheat. Nice banana taste with wheat and a yeasty spiciness.

this little delight is courtesy of what apparently is called the beer census, some kids driving around collecting beer for analytics. they only need one of each, so there are numerous beneficiaries of free surplus all over the country. i fortunately became one of them earlier this week. this is a modest hefe, light in body and feel. i wish it had more creaminess in the texture, thats what i like best about the style, although the flavors if the beer are really nice. hazy yellow colored beer, but it doesnt have the frothing lasting head of the german ones, its a half inch of head that fizzes out in seconds. the nose is a nice mild banana yeast without much of the usual clove spice, allowing the beer to be clean and fruity, rather than heavy and spicy, nice for summer, less so for fall. mild tartness in the finish too makes it real refreshing. the feel is weak though, not enough bubbles or body, but its still something i could crush through a bunch of. my first beer from these guys, its not overly impressive, but its better than its ratings here.

Draft serving at the brewery, quick review from written notes.
Hazy golden orange, on the lighter end of the spectrum, frothy white foam with a decent skim on the surface. Spotty lace in the glass.
Aroma of sliced apples and light banana, estery yeast.
Crisp feel, apple and banana appear again, with some wheaty smoothness in the middle. Carb is a touch high and there's a little bite to it, but its not bad. Pretty utilitarian take on the style, simple but put together adequately. Not bad but there are better out there, Dancing Man, etc.
