From old, undated notes. Poured from the can.
Murky orange rust color.
Huge off-white head; spotty lace.
Orange malt nose.
Caramel & orange flavor with a sour aftertaste.
Odd & not very good.

Picked up a 4 pack of this at the Hy-Vee Liquor store during a trip to Okoboji.
What a disappointing beer. The first thing I noticed after pouring it was the awful cooked corn (DMS) smell. As for taste, the first thing that hit me was sour. I LOVE sour beers, but a Scotch Ale / Wee Heavy isn't a sour beer. It was hard to get paste the smell and the sour taste to see what else was going on.
This ended up getting poured after two or three sips. Other than 1 can that I gave to a friend for a "this is awful, you should try it", the rest went in the garbage.

Poured cloudy from the can. Medium brown. Not very dark for a scottish wee heavey. First scent was okay, but not great. Malty, bitter. But the first taste... whoof! It was sour. Is that intentional or did I get a bad can? We poured the rest down the drain. Drinkable, but really not very good.
