Pours a cloudy dark orange, with some light white foam, bit of lacing. Fairly alcoholic smell, yeasty, some orange zest. Pretty heavy mouthfeel, but not sharp. Some carbonation. Taste is bitter, dried fruit, some oak. Expected more balance.

Golden colouro, short head and retention, irregular lace. Aroma of peaches, pepper, sherry wine, grapes. Palate is rich, creamy, medium to full body. Taste of grapes, peaches, honeoy, tobacco. Great.

From Zombier. In Teku glass. Playing Magic 2015. Peachy, like some belgian ipas than golden stro ng ales, with a good dose of bitterness to keep it interesting. ABV really well hidden, until you stand up...
