Very easy-to-drink English Barleywine. The red wine barrel aging really comes through. Had one on draft at Churchkey in Washington, D.C. on Sept. 5, 2019.

Dark brown colour, no head and no lace. Aroma of rancid red wine, wood, dried fruits, hints of vanilla, acid. Medium body, thin palate, no carbonation. Acid finish Taste of red wine, chocolate, wood, dried fruits. Sour. Strange, good, but more a medium failed experiment.

From decervecitas. In Teku glass. Playing Avernum 4. Red wine notes very clear and fairly pleasant. However, lacks something to make me want to repeat it, maybe because it's too close to a wine. No foam
