Copenhagen 6/8 2020. 50 cl bottle from Brdr. D., Nyvej, Silkeborg. Kragelund’s usual label design with the logo that looks like the symbol from a obscure sect of Freemasons. This time kept in brown and white. And with a Barge on the river near Silkeborg.
Pours opaque dark brown with medium-sized, lightly beige head. Aettles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet odor of caramel and toffee and a lightly metallic vibe of alcohol. Chocolate. Lightly roasted, dark malts.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light bitter undercurrent. Light bitter finish.
Weak nose but a fine, prominent flavor.
