Copenhagen 10/8 2020. 50 cl bottle from Brdr. D., Nyvej, Silkeborg. Kragelund’s usual label design with the logo that looks like the symbol from a obscure sect of Freemasons. This time kept in blue, white and silver. And with an old steam train.
Pours unclear amber with a small, bubbly white head. Settles quickly as a thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a light sweet odor of caramel with hints of nuts and candy. Biscuits, toasted malts. A bit of sugar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light touch of biscuit. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit flat - but with a decent bitterness.
