A modern IPA based on the American model, where the focus is not on the bitterness of the beer, but rather on the fruitiness of the exquisite American hops.
Flavor and aroma are obtained from Columbus, Cascade and Citra hops, which are added to the beer in generous quantities late in the brewing process, as well as during fermentation and maturation to give a maximum impression of tropical and citrus fruits.

Copenhagen 8/9 2024. 50 cl bottle from Larsen Delikatesser, Bredgade, Herning. Kragelund usual label design in gold and dark blue with Kragelunds logo in the center in silver.
Pours opaque murky golden yellow. A little dirty. Mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as 0,2 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a mild fruity sweet odor mingling with a sharper rough citric scent. Peach and pineapple. Soon overpowered by grapefruit and lemon. Sharp.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger, sharp bitterness. Aftertaste is Bitter with a tart dry streak. Not much redeeming sweetness. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Weak nose but it makes a comeback.
